to prevent parasites etc? And how often should I use it? Do worms develop a resistance to it?

I think it's more like a vitamin boost than actual dewormer. I put a good splash in my 3-gallon waterer- probably about 6-8 oz. glassful or so.

I also use the organic ACV-Bragg's is the brand I use. A good rule of thumb is 2 tbsps per gallon of water. I think the benefits that I like the most are: the ability to help the hens absorb more calcium and respiratory aid.

Yeah, to kill worms, no this is not going to do it. There are plenty of good wormers out there, Eprinex is one and you don't have to toss the eggs while you use it. Do a search on byc, tons of info. Ummm, I use ACV on a daily basis, I figure if I can drink it daily, so can the girls. It's an excellent tonic and it keeps my sinuses clear so...it's also a great chick booster, especially good for clearing up pasty butt.
