How much ACV?

I use ACV in my dogs' water dishes, and in my budgie's water dish, as well, and I've been putting a few drops in the chicks' water for the past week, but I'd like to know what amounts I should be using. I have a small waterer which holds a quart of water in with the 3 little babies right now and a gallon one for later. How much for the quart one?

Maybe a teaspoon. I would think if you put too much, they would avoid it because of the taste.

I use 6 tablespoons in my 5 gallon waterer, and they don't seem to mind the taste. A teaspoon or maybe a tad less would be about right for a quart waterer, then you can go up to a tablespoon for the gallon waterer.
