Hmmm, I'm not sure if Duramycin is the best thing for intestinal ailment. I wonder if it would be better to use something as natural as raw Apple Cider Vinegar in their water, or give them probiotics like yogurt with live cultures. Or maybe a medicine like Sulmet or Corid would be more effective for their symptoms.

It seems a lot of hens are slowing down in laying now, it could be the season beginning to change, or they could be starting to molt.

Also, check them for mites or lice. They can sap a hen's strength & cause her to slow down on her laying.

Please know that I'm no expert on this, there are other members much more knowledgeable about symptoms & medications. But if these were my birds I wouldn't start giving antibiotic or other medications until I had tried other remedies. Especially if they otherwise seem well, moving/eating/acting normally.

People give varying amounts of ACV, often I'll just pour a "splash" into each gallon waterer. NOTE: don't put ACV in galvanized metal containers! Only glass or plastic! Try a Tablespoon or two, see if it has an effect. If your birds don't like the taste use less, if it doesn't help their symptoms try a little more. Same with the yogurt.

I hope this helps! I hope some other more knowledgeable folks chime in here too!
