how much attention do ducklings need to become attached to you?

im not sure how old they are but dont have feathers yet just the fuzzy stuff and kind of little 2 pekin 2 cayugas and 2 rouens and is there a way to tell if they are male or female yet?

well the quacks usually give it away. cliche quack sounds are females and raspy deep sounds are males. also in terms of attachment the best is having them when they hatch. otherwise they bond to siblings and it becomes harder. when mine were little i actually spent alot of time with them apart from when they were napping or when i couldnt be with them like school. otherwise they were with me all the time. now there older there is some days where i dont chill with them at all but when i do they stick to me like glue.

if you give it time and dedication theyll love you enough to act like mine. also rouen males will develop a green head, pekins and cayugas have any visual differences
