how much food?

I know this sounds dumb but how much and how often should you feed 1 bantam and 2 barred rock who just started grower? Thanks!

I leave a bowl for them almost half cup each, depending on their age.

Get a big feeder, fill it up, put in their coop. They know how much to eat and don't need you to dole out food. Hey, one less task to do!

As much as they'll eat in a day. Feed them as often as you wish. If you have a rodent issue, don't over feed, having free mice food banquet at night. Or, pull the feeder at night. If you don't have a rodent issue, then feed away. Sooner or later, it seems, the rodents show up. Mickey, Minnie and all the gang.

No stupid questions! I just posted one myself about how much feed I'm going through. I'm all for filling the feeder and letting them have at it, and refilling when it's gone. With just a couple like you have, stick with a smaller feeder though. Don't want it to get bugs or nasty.
