How much honey is to much?

I am trying to figure out how much honey to put in my newly hatched chicks water (they are due to hatch tomorrow)
I made up a quart jar of water mixed with apple cider vinegar honey and garlic I accidentally put a little less than 1/4 cup of honey in a quart jar when the recipe said 1/2 cup for 1 gallon of water. should I leave it like that or split it into 2 jars?

Fresh clean water is best, I do NOT recommend "magic water" mixtures like this.
