How much is too much?

I have some bluing shampoo coming in the mail. I don't plan on showing this year (although if it comes today it would be helpful for the Standard Bred Chicken show on BYC).

I will be using it on my Columbian Wyandottes, and I really don't want to dye them blue... what ratio of bluing shampoo to water is the best?
