How much peeping is too much peeping?

Hi everyone, this morning I received a new batch of chicks. This is my first time using a brooder heating plate and I know that more peeping means unhappy chicks. There are a few who are consistently peeping, even when under the plate. How quiet should chicks be? I think using this new technology is throwing me off my game.

Any measures or recommended levels of peeping would be appreciated.

How long have you had them?
Did you show them their water and dip their beaks in it?
Were they shipped to you or did you get them from a store?
Can you post a picture of them under the plate? And another of your entire brooder setup?

Yes, dipped beaks. Ideal Poultry. I'm in meetings for the next few hours. I'll post later today.

Mine are always making some sort of sound, except at night when they sleep (which, with a brooder plate, they can, since they have proper darkness! So they sleep dead silent all night long). They like to talk a lot and make soft cheeps pretty much constantly. You'd know if something's wrong - that's a loud, shrill, insistent sound. Not the happy little cheeps that form the background noise of happy chicks.
