How Much Penicillin to Administer??????

I need to give my wounded bird some antibiotic. I have penicillin. No where on this bottle does it say how much to give. Does anyone know the dosage??? Please help!! THANK YOU!!

For procaine penicillin G, the dosage is anywhere from 1/10th of an ml to 1/2 ml safely depending on the source. I prefer to say 1/4 ml given into the breast muscle daily for 4 days. Use a 20 gauge needle since it is thick, has to be mixed well in vial, and only insert the needle 1/2 inch or less. Pull back on the needle to make sure you are not in a vein before injecting the medicine.
