how much room should goats have?

I just need the ok to get some goats. Id like to but what id I got one? I have dog. would it be noisy and upset?

also I was thinking of the outside area to be about 20x10 and then the house would be inside that area and be about 4x6.
I would let it/them out during the day
is this enough for 2 goats?
is this enough for 1 goat?
if not how much bigger should it be

any other tips appreciated

Yes that's enough room for goats.
But how about go ask at BYH where there's a lot of simply sticky threads?

You HAVE to have 2 goats.
20 x 10 doesn't have a lot of foraging room. You'll spend a fortune on hay.
Like I said before, use the wonders of google or use the wonders of sticky threads on BYH. Very helpful, will cover just about everything.
