How much space?

I have a run area that is about 125 sq feet fenced off and a coop that is 40 sq feet and 8 feet high. How many full size chickens would be able to live comfortably in that area? I currently have 1 adult Easter Egger living there now (quite lavishly!!) and I have 10 chicks in the brooder now. I do anticipate having to down size once they're ready to live outside but just want an idea about how many I can plan on keeping.

You should be fine. Seems that your coop is enough for 10 full grown hens and your run is also enough for 10 full grown hens.

Well that's good news!! Is there a guideline as to how much space per chicken?? I know there is but I'm not sure what is it...

The MINIMUM rule of thumb is 4 sqft per chicken in the coop and 10 sq ft per chicken in run, but it really depends on a long list of factors. More is always better!
