How much tetra do I give?

I need to add Tetracycline to my chickens waterer, which is a standard 2.99 clear bottle with red bottom. How much do I put in for year old birds?

I have a waterer that a quart jar screws into. I have calculated the dosage for that size container which is 1/8 teaspoon to 1 quart water. It seemed to work when one of my pullets had the back of her head pecked off down to her skull. She has completely healed.
