i need to start thinning my herd. i have 3 three-month-old Lavender ganders. i hatched them from eggs purchased from a local woman who bought her breeding pair directly from Holderreads. They are super pretty, though not super friendly at this point. The older hatchlings tend to bully them around.

Anyhow, i have no idea what to ask for them or the best way to sell them to ensure a good home. i'm fairly sure i wouldn't want to ship them - just too much trauma for them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. i'll attach a picture.

Colleen, not shipping will limit you to the local market and what it will pay. If you shipped you might get more, but would want to use three zip ties of different color a d take individual pictures and price them according to quality.

i am such a novice that i honestly have no idea how to determine quality. My main concern is to get them to a loving home. i have such a hard time rehoming anybody. Were it up to me, i would keep them all.

If you can keep them until fall and ship them when it is cool enough you might have better at finding them a home if you can make shipping available. Shipping is very easy and they look like very nice quality lavenders. How old are they?

I live in Evansville Indiana and have been searching for Holereads blood lines. Do you have lavenders for sale? I would happily pay for express shipping in addition to charge for gosling ganders, Please contact me at [email protected]. Thank you so much. Linda Evers
