had 1 hatch a day early and died soon after hatching (he hatched with his yolk sack and simply stopped breathing after moving around rather vigorously ) didn't make a peep nor have the other eggs but i had candled them and seen birds developing i have no doubt they are as alive as this one was but for some reason no sounds.

ok perfectly normal not to hear peeping. When you say you candled, you mean before lockdown cause you shouldn't be in that bator right now.

Also if you want to test for peeping then take a bright light like a desk lamp or flash light shine it in on the eggs then litterally make a cheep cheep noise. They will often time respond to the light or the noise.

thanks! and yes before lockdown =] its been ages since i hatched anything the last thing i hatched was quail and i cant recall if i heard peeping or not with them! so i am super nervous please chickies hatch!!!
