How often can I treat for cocci?

I lost my peacock to what I believe to be cocci. Reason for this line of thought is all symptoms match. Took 4 days from when I noticed it until I lost him.

I treated my peahen immediately. This was 3 weeks ago. She is showing signs of it again.

Does anyone know how often I can treat for this pain in butt virus?

Peachicks are the most vulnerable to cocci, the older they get the less likely they will have problems unless they are stressed by something else making them sick. My vet recommends treating the chicks with two weeks off then treat again. We usually do this until deep winter with deworming every four weeks or as needed by confirming with fecal floats.
