How often do auto-turners...

How often do auto-turners rotate? I have a small bator with auto turning trays that I haven't used yet...but am wanting to design and build my own setup. I read most people that hand turn do it 3 times a day.. could I have mine turn every hr or 2 or is that too often. Thanks again for the info.

My Hovabator one swings fully every 4 hours.

My Lincu bator rolls the eggs every hour. I'm not sure about the Brinsea turner I've got but I think it might be every hour as well. But it doesn't wait an hour and then turn quickly like the Lincu does, it is constantly moving and I think it takes an hour to roll over and then back again.

I had a gal give me a bator and I was going to ask this question so this is a good thread. I noticed the auto turner doesnt have a switch. So i just leave it plugged in until lockdown? Its ok that its constantly moving?
