I see some people say every 1-2 days to give fresh water. I have one waterer inside the coop and 1 in the run. I give vits & electrolytes 6 days of the week and acv 1 day/week. I will also be getting some Oxine and figuring out how to use that in the water. I'll possibly will give probiotics once in a while too. If I only have 2 eight week old pullets I was wondering if I could go any longer assuming it doesn't get dirty and they have ample supply?

I normaly do it everyday, but maybe that is just me. I wash them 1-2 times a week and disenfect them. I don't see an issue though as long as it's not cloudy, getting that fun slim coat, full of bedding food etc.

I use a big five gallon waterer for my six layers. Rinsed and filled with plain tap water about once a week they do just fine. If its off the ground high enough the water stays clean.

In the winter I let mine go 3-4 days with no problem. It's raised off the ground so the water stays clean. In the summer, though, I change it every day because the water gets warm so quickly--not very refreshing for my girls in the heat!

I have 2- 3.5gal waterers one inside, one outside. I refill and clean then add ACV once a week - so far so good. If it look cloudy or trashy when I check on them daily I will take it out an dump the exposed water so that fresh water flows out. This is for 7 10-12 weeks old mixed flock.

We usually change ours every other day. We have two large waterers for 20 chickens. Our waterers are hung up, so they stay pretty clean. They are both in the shade so they stay surprisingly cool.
