How often should I get my flock tested for P/T if I wanted to show

I was curious how often should I get a bird tested if I wanted to show that bird????

I think the majority of shows have a tester at the show that will do it for you and it will be good for 90 days. If you have them come out to your house, the testing is good for a year.
