How old are these two Buff Orpingtons chicks?

A friend got these Buff Orpingtons from TSC about 3 weeks ago. They should be around 3 weeks old but look older than that compared to the Barred Rocks she got at the same time. She gave me these two, how old would you say they are? And what gender? And the one looks like it could be a roo. Though I'm just guessing since I'm new to chickens.

Looks like a pair to me, too. Maybe they're 4-5 weeks or so.

Really? I was hoping at least one was a pullet. Yeah I thought they kind of had too many feathers for being only 3 weeks old. Plus they are pretty big.

I think she meant a pair as in one pullet one roo..
the first one looks like a pullet to me. I would say they are 4 or 5 weeks old, I have some 5 week old chicks that are about that feathered out.
