How old are we????

These BR gals came home with us yesterday. Seller told us they were 4 weeks old. He had a few different groups of chicks there so IDK?
Are they really 4 weeks old? I know many of you will be able to confirm or deny immediately.
They look and act younger than 4 weeks, though in reality we've only done this once before.

Leenie, I don't know how old they are, but do you mind if I ask why you have the masking tape around the cage? Is it to make the open gaps smaller? I'm building my brooder now, just curious.

Oh my 1 of these girls got out TWICE this morning so Pepper has been nicknamed Houdini!!!
So. . . we added a masking tape border and haven't had an escape since.
