My question isn't about breed or gender but I think it is quite similar.
I bought recently two silkie chicks. The seller told me they were hatched and raised by hen. The hen had hatched them secretly and just appeared one day with her chicks. The chicks had eaten the same food as the hen and hadn't got special chick food.
The seller told me she didn't know exactly how old the chicks were but they were supposed to be about one month old by the time I bought them. When I received the chicks they appeared to be much smaller than my previous silkie chicks I bought some time ago from different seller and who were supposed to be also about one month old.
What do you think? How old are my chicks?
