How old before geese are fertile?

All of my Sebastopols did a wonderful job with laying and babies this spring...they were all born last spring.

At what age did your Sebastopol start laying or mating? I have a male Sebastopol and a female roman tufted. Their both around a year. I saw him mate her once. I. Praying for the best. Any help would be greay appreciated.

Hi, I have an 8 1/2 month old Sebastopol who is determined to sit a clutch. I wasn't fast enough to gather them and she is sitting on 3 now. My gander is almost 3 so I know they are fertile but I worry about her age and going through such an ordeal being so young. Should zi remove the eggs and hope she will try next year? Or should I leave her to her arduous task. She us just a baby herself!
