How old before we can feed treats? BOSS, Meal worms, etc.

Chicks have made it to 5 weeks can we start spoiling them with BOSS or meal worms or fruit or anything fun? I have seen the treat posts but nothing about age.

They can start on other food right from the start. If they are out with their mom they will eat anything mom shows them. Though I like to keep those raised in the brooder on starter so they get a balanced diet for the first five or six weeks though. So anytime now for yours. Make sure they have access to grit when you do.
