There is a show next weekend but my guys are 5 months old. I am having trouble finding what age a chicken can be to be shown.

Usually the final word is up to the individuals running said show, but I have found that most of the time it's 5 months.

There is not really a minimum age, but a bird should be full grown and in full adult feathers. For some breeds 5 months will work, but not recommended. Others you want a Cockerel or Pullet as close to a year old as possible without going over.

For me my seramas I try to plan to hatch alot 8 months before so at the show the bird is 7 months I find it helps alot. For my silkies I like at least over a year.

Yes I mostly agree with every body. For my bantam phoenix hens at 5 months they look pretty good but they all are better at 8 months. For my large fowl to show good they really need to be 10 or 11 months before they really fill out.
