I have eggs in the 'bator due to hatch Mon/Tues. and I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to run out of brooder room when the littluns hatch, so I'm wondering at what age do coturnix have enough feathers to keep themselves warm outside? Our daytime temps are between 50-60, but nights still cool down into low 40s. Although hopefully it should start getting really warm in the next week or two.
I have a 5' x 7' outdoor pen all ready to go, and 4 birds nearly a month old. 3 male and 1 only hen
hopefully i'll get more girls than guys this next hatch.
