My hens were 6 years old in June. The easter-eggers seemed to still be laying well. Unfortunately, 2 of them were killed in June. Another one laid until a couple weeks ago. They were all traumatized by a coon attack in June too.
No brown eggs since then. Do you think they'll start up in January again, or is it most likely the end of the line for them?
