how old?

i have 6 hens that are about 6 months old. One of them was supposed to be a rooster but turned out to be a hen so we got 2 new chickens a rooster and a hen, and I was just wondering how old they have to be when we introduce them into the coop and won't get picked on or hurt by the older hens? (their one week old now) thanks

Generally, I believe it's more of a size thing than an age thing...so when they are close to the same size as the others, then you can introduce them. I hope that helps!
