How safe are my 3 month old chickens roosting in a tree?

I am new to backyard chickens here in SW Michigan. I have 15 birds. We came home last night to find only 13 in their pen. It has 6 8x10 dog run panels. They have a coop, and until last night, had all gone in like good little girls. After much searching, by the grace of God, and my 11 year old daughter's eyes, we found the 2 about 6 feet up in a pine tree adjacent to their cage. Are they safe there? Should I clip wings? I don't want to hinder thier nature, but I need to keep them safe...Thanks for any help!

Thanks, ChickensAreSweet. I needed to do some research before I clipped wings. I found one more post that recommended trying to keep them in, especially because we have racoons. Have a fabulous day.
