Ok. I have three blue hens and one blue rooster. I was told they were all Marans but the rooster most likely is not due to the white lobs and other things. The hens are most likely Marans or a Marans cross. They lay brown eggs, but not dark dark eggs like Marnas. They are darker than a normal brown egg though.

I am not sure how to list them.

should I put Blue Marans Cross hatching eggs? Blue hatching chicks. I am not sure.

Any advice. This is a picture of the roo and one of the hens.

I am in Debary. I go to the Pierson swap. Sometimes Osteen, but Pierson is the best swap in the County.

I have 8 or so of these chicks hatching right now!!!! I can not wait to see them.

Mixed or cross is good. I really don't think it matters. If people don't want to buy them after seeing (the beautiful!) pictures of the birds, they don't have to.

Are you going to the Pierson swap this saturday? I'm thinking of taking a bunch of EE roos and my little Salmon Favorelle group.

Would love to know who you are to say Howdy

I am not sure. I have 5 silkie roosters to sell and some babies that just hatched. I am not sure if I want to go up there for 5 roos and 20 chicks. I usually sell out of chicks within 30 minutes, due to what I hatch.
