how soon do the guys a girls start making their "sounds"

does anyone know at about what age guineas start making the sound that you can tell them apart? Like the "buck-wheat" sound the females make. I got one on accident and now I have three since I started reading more about them and the benefits of having them around for bug control...I just hope the neighbors don"t mind the racket they make.

I can't remember exactly when they started but they were definitely making the buck weat noise at 8 weeks old.

In the book 'Guinea Fowl' by Van Hoesen, they mentioned them making the sound by 2 months.
