how soon can i take the new chicks out of bator? the 2 chicks r running all over the other eggs. they keep turning them, now one pip is on lower side. is this critical to the eggs and should i remove the chicks to the brooder that is ready?

Thats perfectly normal and doesn't seem to do much harm in my experience. I think the purpose of keeping them still is so that they can get the right way to pip the air cell which is the position they are probably in now. I leave them in until they have fluffed up and walking steady, but if your brooder is warm enough and draft free they could probably go in now.

I think i will wait a little longer. i will just leave them alone. really the only time they run around is when we shine a light in the bator to look at the other eggs. Thanks
