Just wondering how tall are silkies when they are full grown? ...if my Serama hatch does not hatch out again I am going to hatch some silkies. I have an indoor kennel for a trio of Serama's...I have one male serama to hatch from my last two eggs I had but so far no hatches yet from the new eggs
My indoor chicken house is 20 inches high and I was wondering if that's enough room for silkies.
I have one that can stand up as tall as 28" when he is crowing. Gets too close to the top of the cage so I really have to move him soon but he is still in for isolation and he is only about 4-5 months old, I think. I don't think they get very big but that may not help you in deciding how tall. But they are larger than Seramas except in attitude!
