How tall does a peacock stand?

When not displaying, how tall is a peacock? I'm trying to draw one with a Great Pyrenees, but I don't know what the size difference is. My gut tells me they are similar heights, sans tail.

I don't know about the GP, but I'm 6'2" and a male peacock at the shoulder is about knee high and the head around waist to belly high and the tail when fanned is about head high. I have seen GPs while in my minivan and they are at window height, so I guess about my waist...they were standing not sitting....I hope that is of some help to ya....my inseam is 34"....

I have 36 inch panels between the breeding pens. The IBs line of sight is about 34 inches, A large high Spaulding can stand flat footed and look over it.
