Hi, I’m Bee, wanted to introduce myself since I’ve never posted before.
Been a chicken mama for almost 4 years now to my three beautiful girls:
Ophelia, Saffron, & Shadynasty (“Americana”, Buff Orpington, Black Sex Link).
I love having my chickens, their personalities, spending time around the yard together (& the best eggs). Even on a bad day, the way they run up to meet me when I come home makes me smile. They won’t be confined to the yard & pretty much “free range” the block, luckily the neighbors enjoy them!
My other hobbies are plants & gardening (they help with the bugs), arts, crafts, rockhounding, & mushroom foraging, love being outside.
I also have my 4 rescue cat fur-babies. I actually found the youngest, Lil Bob, hanging out with my chickens eating bread heels together (pic)
I found BYC years ago learning about how to set up the chicken coop. I’ve recently come back to learn about how to help a sick chicken, this community is great & its members are so helpful!
