How to administer antibiotic capsules?

One of our chickens has bumblefoot. It's not bad yet, and I've read that I can treat with antibiotics now and perhaps avoid having to cut the foot open. After I've gotten the antibiotic capsules, how on earth do I get them into her? They don't exactly look like cracked corn.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can pick her up, though she doesn't like it much.

Also, if anyone has a good source for antibiotics, I'd appreciate that, too. My vet won't give them to me and doesn't treat chickens, so I've got to order them online, I guess.

Thanks.

We use amoxicillin for our birds and open a capsule and mix it with about a cup of water and let them drink that as their water source. We sell amoxicillin, cephalexin, penecillin and tetracyclin in capsule form for animal use. You can PM me if interested.
