How to apply Insecticide cypermethrin (40:60) 100 mg

Hello...I have a flock infest with lice. Pet store sold me cypermethrin (40:60) 100 mg and told me to dilute it in water according to recommendations, and then spray the chickens/coup with it. My question is...how does spraying the chicken will help... their feeders are almost impermeable. The lice and other bugs live on the skin.
Are you familiar with this insecticide...is it safe for 4/5 mouth chiken? Can I apply on the nest as well ? How should I apply it ?

Since it is a synthetic pyrethroid, I will work similarly to permethrin.

I would not spray the coop for lice but would for mites.

It has been some time since this post, How are the chickens doing?
