Almost every drug that you inject into peas is given SQ meaning just under the skin. Tylan is known to bruise the muscle and cause deterioration. The best place to inject is under the wing against the body where there is an area that is almost featherless. Put the needle in at an extreme angle staying just under the skin, insert at least one inch and when pulling out put a little pressure with your finger against the needle at the injection site to keep the meds from coming back out.
