How to breed Buff Sussex rooster?

Yeah, they're not really Buff, but more of an odd uneven light red.

And a Buff Orpington for the color shade, not pattern.

I've seen some darker shades of Buff, but typically they're more of a light, golden orange shade.

Hi everyone

So I have a few buff Sussex chickens. I managed to source the only Buff Rooster I could find in our country. He isn't the best, but he looks decent

The problem is his offspring roosters are leaking a lot of black on their bodies. The girls are perfect.

Now I'm wondering what can I do to improve the young cockerels? Or any other breed of rooster I can put on my buff hens to try and get decent roosters?

I'm sorry but I'm in South Africa. I think you will get some nice buffs in the US, somewhere someone will have
