How to catch a turkey

What is best way to catch an escaped turkey that can fly?

Watermelon rind. Mine will spend 30mins picking at the rind and you can walk up and pick them up one by one.

I just walk over and pick mine up. If they are out away from me, I call them and they come to me.

Mine will follow a feed bucket or a nice head of lettuce anywhere. A little training before they escape is worth putting some effort in. The easiest way for me to move my turkeys around is to show them some nice leafy greens and then walk to where I want them. They follow me, begging.

I think some time spent early on with leafy greens is big to a turkey.

My two know if I come out I'm coming with the intent to catch them. This makes it hard with plenty of cover to hide and run circles under. However if I have my empty food bowl I used from day one with leafy greens and good rinds they will calm down and be slow enough or close enough I can grab them for a good look over.
