how to chipmunk proof your feeder???????

How can i do it??? chipmunks can jump no matter how high i can get it!!! wish i could make a feeder that would recognize it is a chicken and open for them and not open for chipmunks.

I saw a post somewhere on here for a feeder that stays closed until the chicken steps on it and then it opens. I don't think the chipmunk would be heavy enough to open it.

I live in the country and wooded area and been having a chipmunks problem this pass year getting into the chicken runs and turkey runs and other birds that I have , plus eatting the bird feeders food to the only way I been to limit the chipmunks population is with rat posion place in differant areas of property where my pets and birds plus the wild birds can't or don't get in to it ,plus moth balls help if you place a feww balls in there hole in the ground they hate the smell too and just move on
