How to doctor your chicks feet

My month old chicks have wounds on top of their feet the other chicks peck each other's feet they have a 1 acre yard to run so they are not pinned up only at night in the chicken house is the only time they cuddle. My question is how to stop the other chicks from making wounds on the other chicks. I won't upload a picture because of its grossness

Pecked feet are red in color from blood. The red color attracts other chicks to keep pecking more. There is this thing called BlueKote. Here is a copy/paste about it.

Will it work on wounds that is already scab over?

Sure it will. The BLUE color does not attract chickens to peck at it. It also provides a bad taste if they do. WIN WIN.
