How to dye Chickens Silkie Chickens?

I have been wanting to dye one of my white silkies for a while but l'm not sure how. Do l just bath them in dye or do l have to inject ink when they are in the egg?

Dying peafowl impractical and hazardous to your limbs. Injecting dye into pea eggs would kill them for sure -- the darned things are already decidedly touchy to hatch.
