How to encourage my hen to lay again?

I have a chantecler hen who quit laying when I brought 3 chicks home. They are about 10 weeks now and are in their own coop. They have all gone out together during the day in the yard with enough room so that the little ones can just move away from the older ones when they go towards them. Once there is a couple of feet distance, everyone is happy again. This hen who quit laying did corner them into her pen one night and sat on them so I am assuming she is mothering them even though she would peck at them if they tried to move from under her. Do I need to wait it out until they are all older or how can I get her to lay again. And another question would be when should I put them all into the same coop. Any advice would be appreciated as I am fairly new at this. And I don't know if it matters, but I do not have any roosters.
thanks

She will lay about the same time she is through mothering the chicks. If she is still mother them you could try to put them in the coop now. She will handle the integration. At ten weeks are old enough to handle it with her sponsorship
