How to get antibiotic ointment out of feathers?

I was putting alot of antibiotic ointment on my hen's huge coon-attack wound for quite a while. It really matted down the neighboring feathers.
Yesterday I gave her a bath with baby shampoo and it just seemed to spread the oil. (Her wound is now a scab).
What should I use to clean her that would be safe for the wound, and wouldn't hang around on the feathers, once they dried? I know it will probably degrade with time and disappear, but she's not able to fluff her feathers very well and sometimes she gets cold.

Most likely would be less stressfull on both of you if you just let it degrade with time. Also, you really shouldn`t disturb the scab. Just my 2 cents....Pop
