How to get disease testing??

How do you go about getting your backyard flock tested for salmonilla, AI, etc etc? Just a vet? Or is there a place specificly to contact for that?

Do you suspect any specific diseases or do you just want certification that the flock is clean, because you are selling chicks, etc.?

If you suspect a disease, you want to go to an avian or exotic vet. Take any birds who may be displaing symptoms for testing.

If you just want to get your flock routinely tested, contact the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). They're the organization that does testing and certification for most hatcheries and many breeders.
