I have a chick in an egg, the thing is that one of his companions has already hatched, when I hold the egg I hear him chirping inside, and moving. The problem is that he hasn't piped the shell yet, when should I help 'em out? also wats the safest way to break open the egg with the baby inside if i have to help him out?thanks please help ASAP!!

And, now that you opened the bator during hatch, get the humidity up in there ASAP. Ideally you don't open the bator till they are all out. I don't move my hatched chicks till the end of day 22.

How many eggs do you have in the bator?

What day is it?

How many hours ago did the other hatch?

Are they the same breed?

They can pip for some time before cracking the shell.

well the good news is that he hatched, the bad news is that he hatched deformed.... his eyes are big and he cant get up and walk normally also, he has two soft black spots in his back, anyone know what the cause is? the remedie?
