How to help raise temperature in an incubator

Thank you for all your help everyone, it looks like they are going to let me return the incubator. Very nice of them. I am going to try making a brooder as suggested

I forgot to add that having a cup of water in the container will help with humidity which has to be more that plain air. Have not hatched them this way but have raised just hatched in one of these.
