How to help young birds feathers grow in??

I have 8 cornish cross meat chickens(had 10 a coon got 2) there gonna be 5 weeks old this Wednesday. I take 3 to the fair in about 3 weeks and most of there feathers have grown in but if you ever raised these meat birds you know how there feathers don't grow in good on there bottoms and so on. I gave them all a baby soap bath a little bit ago and are in there tractor(movable pen). I was wondering if there was anything to feed them or anything to help there feathers in better. Last year it was the same and I would like to get most of there feathers in. If you can give me any advice I would really appreciate it!!!!!

cornish x are not good feather birds ...most are half bald...like under wings and breast/; jeff

Yes I know,but almost all of the rest at the fair last year and most I see have full plumage and I would like to get that on them...thanks
