Ok so in october I ordered 5 ducks and 2 chicks I know that was stupid.I seperated the chicks from the ducks but one of them a blue cochin died from eating something bad this was all 3 weeks ago.I have since moved the ducks outside but im not to sure of the lone americauna chicken.I also have 2 phoinex hens living outside but the bigger and more dominant one wont accept her.I offered bread too them today while putting down the lone girl but right after they were done eating the dominant hen attacked her.Sorry for so much typing but I really need help!If it helps the americauna is 8 weeks old and has been liveing in a a big space in the basement with me visiting her alot.

I don't even try to put them together until the yougsters are around four months old, nearly full size and in full feather. It will be extra tough with just a single. I'd wait another month or two and then put her in a pen next to your other girls--or section off the pen so they can all see each other, but not have contact. After a couple of weeks of that I'd put the less aggresive of your two hens in with the new one. Make sure there is plenty of room and watch them close. Some chasing and pecking is ok, but you don't want it to get bloody. After a few days when those two are getting along you can try adding your aggresive hen to the mix.

Good luck with them!

Ok thanks so much!Shes im my lap right now chillin lol.I guess I mine as well get a chicken diaper or somethin so she can roam around the house a lil bit.

Get a smaller pen and put it in with the other chickens so they can get used to her without there being conflict. I have seen this work but its not a guarantee, sometimes just the opposite.

Yes, if you can somehow house her so she is next to, or crated inside with the others it will be comforting to her. She will have a "flock", even though they can't get to each other, and they will slowly get to know each other. After 3-4 weeks, try integration again. Being around other chickens will be better for her than being a house chicken.

Yeah but I think its just still too cold for her outside whenever I bring her out there she starts to shiver so I was thinking maybe I should wait till it gets a little bit warmer.
