I don’t know if anyone has posted this solution to keeping chicks off of the glass jar type feeders, but I figured this much out. I cut an empty plastic bottle with the cap on and placed it on top of the jars. The chicks can’t and don’t land on top to poop into the feeder! Just getting into chicks again this spring after many years.
